The node proves its own signing key, fetches the witness proof from your matching service, and your wallet signs the one sentence that ties them to a registered human. Signing costs nothing and moves nothing: it is personal_sign over a plain sentence, not a transaction.

The public https:// address your own matching service answers on. You do not need your node’s signing address — this node proves that itself. Leave the field empty if you do not run a matching service: your node still registers, it just does not count as a witness.
